An EV Workplace charging solution for Magnet Harlequin, Berkhamsted.
Ryan and Tom, two of our EV specialists carried out this recent workplace EV charging solution for a local business in Berkhamsted. Installing x2 Easee One charging points at the property.
Our engineers supplied and installed x2 22kW Easee One socketed chargers and installed a three phase distribution to the existing consumer unit.
Upon completion of the Easee EV charging point install, our NICEIC trained EV specialists demonstrated how to use the Easee chargers and how to plug the type 2 lead into an electric vehicle.
The engineers also demostrated how to set up and navigate the Easee App - This will allow you to have full control over your Charging Robots, whether you are at the property or on the go. The Easee Robot is always connected as it supports both WiFi and comes with built-in e-sim. You can check the status of the charger, adjust the charging power and schedule a charging session.
It has never been easier to charge in commercial buildings and workplaces. With dynamic load balancing, Easee utilises all available electrical capacity in commercial buildings. The Charging Robot distribute the available current automatically between units – so both employees and visitors can charge in a smart and safe way.
A step by step guide to EV Charging with the Easee One at work.
1. Set up infrastructure - Start with the infrastructure. All you need is one cable for power supply. Easee supports up to 101 units on a single circuit.
2. Prepare the back plates - You choose whether you want to buy one or more at a time – the back plates are easily mounted on the infrastructure you have already installed.
3. Plug in electronics - The Charging Robot itself, also called the Chargeberry, contains the system’s electronics and is mounted on the back plate. You configure the Chargeberry by connecting a smartphone to its integrated WiFi network.
4. Scale the system - If you want to expand the system, the desired number of backplates is mounted on existing infrastructure. You do not need to invest in assembly.
