Do Electric Vehicles Require Regular Checks?

As with any car, checking the brake fluid and brake pads, as well as coolant and the washer fluid, are all fundamental health checks considered important to the safe running of the car. Likewise keeping check of the tyre pressure is important, and we always recommend cleaning any large amounts of dirt from the exterior in order to protect the paintwork of the vehicle.

However, as the electric vehicle doesn’t have an engine or a gearbox, the only other regular check is to ensure the battery is in top working order. This should be done by professionals and will become part of your annual MOT check.
