What Is The Battery Life Like On An Electric Vehicle?

Depending on the make and model, a full charge will typically and comfortably give you around 50 to 100+ miles of travel.

This is true of the standard everyday models – there are some Tesla vehicles which will go much further, although the price tag is far higher.
In terms of the battery life of your electric vehicle, again this depends on the model of vehicle and the type of battery it uses. Most of the modern ones now used in EVs will last up to 10 years provided they are properly serviced regularly and looked after to ensure they are working to their optimum level. And it is worth looking after your battery – a replacement can cost upwards of several thousand pounds!
